And Azraeel was their herder as they rode

36. Until guidance settled in the depths of their houses
And non-Arabs were certain the leaders are Arabs

37. They bequeathed you knowledge and made you successors over
Its verses, while eras and descendants elapsed

38. I aspired to the highest freedom towards a hope
To the like of which poems would be chosen

39. I glimpsed the lightening of her image, I roamed around her tipsiness
Then desire led me and habit accustomed me

40. One brings no benefit nor harm
Like fire brings no light or flames

41. The son of Ali built you, O Karbala, a house of honor
God’s loftiest - its pillars are palms and trunks

45. They are the aim of all people
Like time – past, present and anticipated

46. My mistress Hawwa, the best of whoever walks on feet
And I am not your slave if I don’t fulfill what I owe

47. To you I present what my eternity composed
Pride that is serious and eras will wear out

48. And rid yourself of the darkness of lines whenever they weaken
Poems and sermons cast their reins

49. Your righteousness has reached all people on earth
So how can I exclude your neighbor, the non-Arab?
