1. I worship Moses though I'm his brother,
His companion, and have no other master.
١. لِموسى أَعْبُدٌ وأَنَا أخُوهُ
وصاحِبُه ومالي غيرُ عَبْدِ
2. Had God and Moses willed it as well,
My side would be graced by auspicious Sa'd.
٢. فلو شاء الإلهُ وشاء موسى
لآنَسَ جانبي فَرَجٌ بِسَعْدِ
