1. I stand firmly on the side of truth
And a young man's glory in honor is best and most enjoyable

2. And sometimes it gets difficult and awaits prosperity
Then it comes while it does not surrender to it and it obeys

3. Do not let the free-spirited one change his nature
So you make a mistake and humiliation comes then submission

4. May God water the bitter wisdom, he knows himself
To wherever he goes and from wherever he pulls away

5. When diligence protects dignities and goes to great lengths for them
Indeed, losing them is wasteful

6. They blame a sword, how it is disgraced by its sharpness
And they do not know India, from where it is forged

7. Leave safely sheathed the one who eats his scabbard
If he does not cut in your presence

8. And pull the rogue, so expel him
Deceitfully, as long as there is a deceiver in war

9. Now, when its disease has aggravated
You realized which medicine is more useful

10. For the deaf person knew that your fate
Is to him, when necks and arms stretched to him

11. You wasted things by avoiding Muhammad
Then when they passed you said to him, how do they come back?

12. If trials were first for the insightful
The late opinion of an advisor is convincing

13. You sent her the well-trained protector, so look soon
To her deafness, how it hears

14. One stood up for it who was not seeking it
A group defends it while he defends

15. A young man whom high status did not benefit from lowness
And some men are raised by governorship

16. If the governors break their promises to it
Indeed, the one whose promise truth has fully kept has rewarded it

17. And if its two springs betrayed it
It now sits in the heat with the water of his hands

18. The breadth of his generous chest exceeds
A cubit when chests and ribs narrow

19. Serene in patience, laughing whenever he cries
Over the matter as it hastily declines

20. You found in him the lasting opinion, advising
You while the immediate opinion is faulty and glittering

21. And you have tried before him while Muhammad
Is more penetrating and the tremors of misfortunes are cutting

22. That one has his incapability covered with luck
The time is deceived by his manufactured leadership, an innovator

23. Repulsion, strong rejection, his smoothness
Nearly cracks with the first wink

24. When he makes a mistake, he doubts what he is used to
Not missing, so he observes security while he is terrified

25. If incapability discomforts him, his secret is
Concealed while inadequacy is infatuated with favor

26. If four sat from his villainy
Four opponents rose against you

27. It overflows when pure and pardons when irrelevant
And it makes deaf when it singes and gives while it deprives

28. It quenched the thirst of White Kufa from what alleviated its drought
With your two palms, floods of streams, watering

29. After the buttons of life, without it yesterday
It became a pasture for the destitute and a resting place

30. And it made Baghdad happiest for what its longing
Eyelid shadowed, every time it was dry, it wetted

31. You prepared for a house the place of intimacy, residing
And made another lonely, no place without you a position

32. And your day of departure delayed me to show me
Among the embers of separation among those who bid farewell

33. A heart, whenever separation is mentioned
Racing heartbeats, comrades of its patience rupture

34. I found the crucifixion of return in every incident
But I am devastated the day I say goodbye

35. So apologies, the separator is a preserving
Your love and the good replier after you rewards

36. Hearing from afar the tomb and its nearness
For a traveler among you halts and lifts

37. If you refuse, it cheers, and if you build, it cheers
Behind you, following you and tracking you

38. Stinginess of people had protected it from despair
Your deference taught it how to covet

39. It has predecessors, its reign under your control
Is a guarantee and pledge with you not wasted

40. Be gentle when a time period burdens you
And now time has narrowed, so expand

41. If you dress it, it will milk you wildcards
It looked upon you for an instant while it yanks

42. Let it recite its everyday lessons from your meadows
And do not push it away while stranger cows drink

43. To you, and the orator brother of the staff has tired
And the concise advisor has tired from advising

44. My heart leaned away from the intimacy of one whose heart is
Wicked, even if the flattering tongue is artful

45. He shows me by people’s frequent treachery that he is my partner
And his intercessor for what harms and benefits

46. Man has lied that he is my brother
A claimant sees me hungry while he is full

47. When I stand to complain to him about fate
I mean him, not what I say and utter
