And repeated preaching and warning softened them

3. They carried their excessiveness and stubbornness
To one who grief and estrangement did not last long for him

4. When the backbone weakened, the paralyzed limbs were saved
By it, all deaf in ability, but the back remained

5. And I gave it respite, knowing that it will be forced to you
No matter how long the conflict takes

6. What is missed has a serious quest behind it
Guaranteed by the rest of age and patience

7. I used to evade fate and its purpose
And pardon it for what it brings and takes away

8. It makes me desperate, what goes right and crooked
And what it makes accessible to you and denies

9. I did not know that Allah delayed a sign
Through you, revealing its miracle secretly

10. And that you are preserved to revive a state
When it dies, through you lies its revival

11. The transgressions of the tyrants attack it
It is pulled to the rule of the ignorant and dragged

12. It has an aspect of their fear being lenient
And another that hopes you will save it

13. Shaken are the hands of youth between a group
Who suppressed blessings and their suppression is disbelief

14. I have not seen a safe branded slave
Feared by his free Lord, the King

15. Excavations confirmed in failing palms
So urging them was fruitless, the digging prevailed

16. When the house of its stability was firmly rooted
And the wicked immoral leaned toward it

17. Fear roaming over it showed its fangs
And the evils in its outbursts showed

18. It was exposed until no neck protected it
No door for shyness or veil remained

19. The dark brought it to you riding its back
Trusting its excess that you are the dawn

20. Calling you, rise, this is the chance to take it
So roll up your sleeves, the sea is ready for the swimmer

21. It did not hurt him, the failure of those behind him
For in front of him are your zeal and victory

22. You resisted its horridness that no thought
Or money were spent on the like of it

23. He called you alone and he was alone
So shout at him - may your sincere adviser be rewarded

24. Among the people are those whose resolutions lead him
Far, and neither a horse nor a donkey were mounted

25. I seek refuge from the one whose spear's blade
White and black seek refuge from its stabs

26. Except that you fulfilled your covenant
And named him until the fear of you killed betrayal

27. You were like Moses’ staff falling and taking
What magic did not undo, with its white sign

28. You rose upon the kingdom a new sun
That restored the honesty of truth when it is dusty

29. One gloomy day of evil departed frowning
And returned with your face giving it glad tidings

30. It illuminated for us after its darkness, gloom
We said: Is it the minister Al-Qasimi or the full moon?

31. And how many times did you relieve such gloom
And revive a state that stumbled while you are its healer

32. However depressed it became, then it cleared with your swords
Being stars wherein are your faces and blossoms

33. Through you this kingdom grew as a child and a youth
No fortress protected it but you all and no stone

34. In you its branches and offshoots grew
And leaves greened upon its branches

35. For you are days whose brightness increases
Making white while the enemies’ days in it are red

36. It alternates among you, one after the other
Satisfying what trials and experience dictate

37. No command was fulfilled unless you were among its governors
Nor do you have a prevention or order upon it

38. For you is the antique charm of glory and in you are
Its subtleties that one would pride in boasting about

39. One day a prince whose sword and right hand
Protected its sides or loved spilt blood

40. Another day a minister whose mind and tongue
Fulfilled what paper initiated and the mind proposed

41. He is quick glorious fame whose dawn dazzles
And its blossoms suffice over worldly stars

42. His name would stop the hearing if people
Spoke and remembered

43. So time will not lack needing one of you
A lad among you whose generositytranscends poverty

44. Nor one obscured in knowledgeeffortlessly working
Only for your deep knowledge to return him thriving

45. You dressed the gown of might pulling it
None can wear it like you, undisgraced

46. Enduring until the enduring ends
And life in it is beautifully enduring

47. An unmarried chaste one from the gnostics of her Lord
You were matched with her and not every chaste is matched

48. The Imam saw you as her equal and pillar
So she was led while none deserved her dowry but you

49. She wore a crown and an unbreachable fortress
That would not fit her, neither iron nor gems

50. Men wished to be in her place
But none could attain the like of her

51. You walked on the caliphate’s platforms secure
A place aspired by the prominent stars

52. A delicate position - had it not been you -
Its walker would slip or think the land is burning coal

53. Courageous of heart and mouth, extending
Your tongue where speech is scarce

54. When you promised to return, the throne
Yearned to see you and the palace missed you

55. The guardian of authority wished every dawn
For his eyes relief upon seeing your face first

56. Advantages, if the ungrateful feared losing them
For you, gratitude would be enough to bind you

57. I used to wish for them and discourage its bird
With bad omens destined not to fail discouraging

58. And threaten - if attained through you - to fulfill a vow
Today the vow became due

59. A fulfilment disobeyed to transform intent through it
A covenant exalted not to be changed by estrangement

60. An intercession for ancestors who have you as their intercessor
Obeyed and the judge for them with power and command

61. If the harshness of estrangement hurts me and prolongs
There is an excuse for every estrangement in its phases

62. Equity and generosity are conveniently possible
When lacking in hardship, affluence makes up for it

63. Is my right lost? Your glory bears witness
To my merits and my power over the hair's splitter

64. Reconsider some radiance that dazzles time
The narrowed would widen through it or the broken heal

65. Make up for the past, it is spoils of glory
Through which abundance can barely be attained

66. I continued to face annihilation humbled
