1. He found the generous man so he pardoned him, and became gentle,
The valley flowed for him, so he blocked it, and became turbulent,

2. He saw much humiliation with the arrogant demolishing,
The generous and his honor thus became diminished,

3. O you who are fooled by your greedy soul,
And whom desires have made restless and worried,

4. The stingy is forced to spend his money,
Why not be more stingy with your face's water,

5. Honor your hands by not begging, for the sustenance of life,
Is too little for begging,

6. And if you are inclined towards a fertile palm tree,
Flourishing, protect its branches from being picked,

7. I have embraced the virtue of contentment,
And have decided to stay cloaked in it, bundled,

8. And I see tomorrow's breakfast as a mark,
That describes wealth, making me look moneyed,

9. And if a man spends his nights in sorrow,
And I spend my wishes in reliance,

10. The well-equipped man despaired of helping me,
Why should I seek victory although unarmed,

11. If one who possesses favors would adopt,
The honor of contentment, and come to me satisfied,

12. People are to you the one with the most generous hand among them,
Even if you do not give, he would still be the best,

13. The greatest shame, by their faith,
Is when an honorable man becomes poor and stripped,

14. Do the deed for them as they accept it,
And turn away from them aloof and scornful,

15. How many a friend whose heart has fire for me,
I have dazzled with a smiling face that glitters,

16. And showed him that he and I are one hand,
In what concerns him and is most complex,

17. So if you gain some glories from fate,
Incline towards it and rely on it,

18. And strengthen your relationship with his love,
And settle with it as nobles settle for the heights,

19. Inheriting leadership from elders,
A colt when the unwise stumble, waits,

20. And if kings count their lineage,
You will find it the reliable, trusted,

21. At the peak of glory, if it were attained,
The stars would be fortunate, not changing,

22. An ancient house, its building in the sky,
Eternal and glorious like the Kisrawi first,

23. It emulated their efforts and came conspicuously,
A branch more righteous than the roots and superior,

24. I swear by the downpouring thunderbolts,
Storming with lightening through the empty terrain,

25. Building attacks for the brave,
Like the intelligent who sees the hidden, complex,

26. The twisted necks, as you have confronted the crescent,
The deaf heads, as if you have hit the drums,

27. From every abandoner who has not been compassionate,
And neglectful towards a barren land,

28. Bearing staffs, avoid the nonsense talk,
Exaggerated and loud shouting,

29. They do not distinguish turbid water, brought up by them,
Is it a bucket, if they drew it, or a chain?

30. They hope for an hour of Mecca's days,
Attaining it or missing both or neither,

31. If the Mother of Loftiness did not protect its progeny,
By Abi Ali, it would have almost collapsed,

32. A face radiant as daylight, and determination,
That ordered the stars of night to withdraw,

33. And adequacy that accomplishes the affairs of kings
By its efficacy, undertaking it and approving,

34. And if tribulations change their circumstances,
They will find in it the transforming, solution maker,

35. It shoots from its opinions for them,
An arrow, when archery is difficult,

36. And it takes the place of the white pearls in his palm,
Black arrows that do not lie when killing,

37. Its harm passes through when unsheathed,
Where swords cannot penetrate at all,

38. From every fainthearted empty chest,
If he spits his saliva on solid rock, he would shake it,

39. He takes on the distant goal but has not aimed,
At a homeland, or traveled stages on a journey,

40. It goes on and the ink is his extension, bending,
And he substitutes it with the ink,

41. They named it with traditions, in its examples,
A pen, and were it not for injustice, it would be named a blade,

42. Men have struggled competing behind it,
Then recoiled, unable to catch up,

43. Your generosity will ransom the pretender of virtues,
A saying, if you say to do it, he will do it,

44. And the helpless hands are the utmost of his view,
Incapacity and the utmost of his promise is to stall,

45. I am who has secretly loved you in his heart,
And folded his tongue for you gracefully,

46. And sees in your proximity what he sees in his beloved,
The pouring of his soul, its remedy is to join,

47. And when you are mentioned to him his heart flutters,
Restlessly towards you, and turns to you twisting,

48. And sees your side as a garden for merits,
Elegant, and your home a place for virtues to take refuge,

49. And the limiting turns of short-lasting fortune impede him,
From a seeker urgent for a postponed matter,

50. And I think the insistence of fate has become,
Somewhat delirious, and its face has turned kind,

51. And I think I will regain some beauties,
Looking at them, and you will generously let them flow to me,

52. And I have held onto affection from your hands,
That refuses the twisting of its strands to be undone,

53. And feelings for you blow within me like the winds,
Not settling for residency or migration,

54. Carrying your honor wherever I sing your praises,
Having scented the abode from it,

55. Branded with your sublimity above their brows,
The hair of the submissive has not been lost or ignored,

56. And protected from them I have presented to you hastily,
It would not have been, were it not for your love, to be spent,

57. I have placed before you their prestige,
Prepared and arranged before the meeting,

58. And given the necklace of the festival’s crown,
By which it was adorned, and had been suspended,

59. So display it, and then say what would be,
More beautiful on it than it, and more graceful,

60. And let it preoccupy you, mentioning your people lasting,
Describing the heights as a banner represented for them,

61. From the dust of travels past for you all,
And the glory - the last of them makes you see the first,

62. And accompany the expanse of days however long they are counted,
And submit gracefully if you outlive one dear,
