And his pride envelops him sufficiently

47. He gives like the Son of Jesus his son
While between their two seas is the endless sea

48. So this one is generous in his poverty
While that in his generosity thrives

49. In adversity, his heart is deaf
If a boulder drips it does not drip

50. A nose that rages within its nostrils
If its passage is blocked at its end

Are of blood, the garment of day by it red

54. Wading into it benefits him
Though his waistwrap by it shrinks

55. An alertness of one whose tracks
Behind him do not sleep nor retrogress

56. The clamor of stirring settled thickly
On the back of his fully armed steed

57. It broke free so its mouth foamed
As a pearl breaks free from its shell

58. Cutting a fickle thing by which one profits
And a plentiful grace by which one wins

His expressions entrance and enchant

That is bashful and heavily veiled

62. In its understanding for you there is
Deceit, and in its armor there is firmness

63. The glory of excellence has perfumed it
While the most perfumed and purest is from it and its people

64. Ancient kings of whom the new
Are known by the branches of their origin

ูˆูุถู„ูŒ ู…ุฐุงู„ูŒ ุจู‡ ูŠูู†ุตุฑู

65. They did not fail to adorn time with
A prince, minister or appointed judge

66. Implementing his rulings when the people are commanded
Without itself being commanded

67. They are to their clan like the sky
All under it seems insignificant
