Its rise until its stick becomes less stiff

14. It smiles with white, dazzling teeth in the darkness
The slenderness of its form is torturous when it sets

15. When it brushes its teeth, it is as if the one who touched the brush

16. How many nights short of India did I accept
More perilous than the dangers in it were my riding in it

17. I reproached it while fear was pouring into its bones
Not wine, but tears quenched its drinking

19. God has protected its beautiful faces that seem like cups
If faces have not been veiled in beauty by its evening

20. In a valley, the attendants would love it if

22. By God, it has a soul whose chastity and protection
On the day of punishment, it will have a watcher

23. For every lover there is a day he suspects
So ask my solitude - has it seen what would make it doubt?

24. If the pleasures of love mix with its dishonor
Then its blessings to me are what I do not attain from it

25. The melody singers were bad to me today
So has what pleased them before been little?

26. It matters not its multitude or its trickling
Or its clinching from my chastity and my dye

27. And you wondered that the feet of my departure have gathered
Yet most of the acts of time are wondrous

Drags the trains of clouds with its pulling

40. And a virgin to me than her caller or suitor
If her necklaces are revealed, their clinking doubts her

41. Customs come one after the other
As the heights of the stream were climbed by its protection

42. If glory is counted, superior deeds

43. I swear by the rituals of the plain, and what

Yet their cunning flows to others than the veiled ones

56. God has refused that you, may God not make you wretched,
Would harm a nation you sought sickness for, though you are its doctor

57. You bowed to one whom if you stood, he would get you seated
For not all the sons of suppositions are of good breeding

58. The world has surrendered to the Lord of virtues
Whose people's virtues are the flaws of others

59. So o composer of prose, your speech is eloquent
And o spreader of favors, your fragrance is good

60. When souls are distinguished by love of merit
Every virtue soared, and it is the one it loves

61. People unanimously loved you and the clouds of words rained with gratitude to you
Until their pores encompassed the lands

62. You possessed the place of love from every affection
As if you are the hearts' kindness within souls

63. When the sun did not rise upon us, and our matter
Depends on your palm, so may its disappearance endure

64. I am the servant whom your generosity made gentle
And it came to you freely in its different forms

65. You elevated my qualities as delicate and gentle
The stars that encompassed the lands in their entirety

66. And you distinguished me until I solely possessed
The lead of these words which add to its drizzling

67. How many hopes I loaned myself and invocations
I despaired of, but God responds through you

68. I have attained my wishes in you, so deliver to me
That which comforts a soul filled with its worries

69. No matter how you expose favors, their reward
Is to God, then poetry will reward it

70. With every distraction the wind cuts short its journey
And flows ahead of the darkest of darkness

71. Voices gather to me the day it delivers them
When the wooden parts of poetry rise through its orator

72. You like of it its richness and zeal
If the gentle parts of other poems please you

73. You see people behind me picking up its waste
And they are amazed without effort by its roughage

74. Jewels that only I string from its oceans
Purely, while the ordinary has its holes

75. No seller passes by them to make them permissable
By ownership, nor one seeking them to approve of them

76. You remained serving its ink
And critiquing what is free and contaminated from it

77. Broadened are the days of your rule, prohibiting
The events, that its expanse would narrow

78. And its sunrise lasting for you, but besides you is its setting
It folded its beauty and the water beneath its lips

79. Grass, and the closest thing to it on earth is its turf
If it whistles, it requires its Lord's help

80. For nothing responds to it except its echoes
It has defeated insistent seekers, and its skin has exhausted

81. The strongest heroes' palms and their finger holes
It has every day someone crying out to it other than one

82. Death has followed its tracks so it disappoints him
And one seeking deliverance who gets lost in its plains and wadis

83. So its easy and difficult are obscured from him
You have removed the excellent opinions until you have selected them

84. Yet not every opinion of men hits its target
Carrying weight from your concern, burdens

85. That tax its riding animal and its side
So it has folded its yard and withered are

86. Its pastures and its wounds have piled up
It saw no shelters with a master other than you

87. Nor did it yearn for other than you in its lament
Clothe it in the garments of ministry, it is for you

88. If its flourishing and its pockets have been corrected
You have long refused it connection turning away

89. And distanced it while you were close to it
And whoever was its stranger and neighbor

90. Then you are its brother in religion and lineage
With your gentleness in governance, its young man has matured

91. Upon the excellent path, and its ward grew up
The governors had betrayed it before and its tribes

92. Fell short of supporting it and its people
May they be sacrificed for you - for they were your sacrifices

93. The coward hands of management are strangers among us
You threw it into the heart of matters and did not fear

94. The remnants of the lion's fangs - who would intimidate them?
You carried its burdens while the earth was under it

95. And you looked after it when its southerly winds rose upon it
A hand which if the wind blows its water

96. Then nothing harms it but its southern winds blowing
I see its days have returned seeing

97. And its sins have come and they are regretful
It yielded so the hand of forgiveness gave it

98. When the flow of its humility and fear overflowed
May God protect the pastoral state whose meadows flourished

99. And whose prey animal roamed ahead of hunters
It folded its beauty while the water was beneath its lips

100. Grass, and the lowest part of earth from it is turf
If it whistles, it requires the help of its Lord

101. For nothing answers it but its echoes
It has defeated insistent seekers, and its skin has exhausted

102. The strongest heroes, and their palm holes
For it, each day there is someone crying out to it other than one

103. Death has followed its tracks, so it disappoints him
And there is one seeking deliverance who gets lost in its plains

104. So its easy and difficult are obscured from him

105. And not every opinion of men hits its target
Carrying weight from your burden, heavy loads

106. That tax its mount and its flank
