And the slender-waisted, delicate one is forgiving

4. She pines - how strange for her to pine
If she were a beseecher, she'd be provided for

5. She is but flashes of purpose
Alluringly - and neither the lowland nor the lightning bolt

6. Can her constant whimpering depart
If the soul within her were more gentle

7. Her pastures yesterday were sick for her
And the soil of her dwellings is more gentle

8. She came to Babylon and Babylon sprouted
For her and the gloomy, dirty one cried

9. So clear her paths and the shadows
She dreams whilst travelling or wanders

10. Even if the guiding stars lie
She has a confidante who believes

11. Maybe her gentleness in the lands of oblivion
When she nears her glory, will be freed

12. And you - precede the late risers with her
The waters show grace to the early starter

13. Whether you offer an excuse or achieve
Your fortune is the goal of one who succeeds

14. How much sleep beneath the shade of contentment
With eyelids closed shut on the gravel

15. Winds of purpose blow upon you
Quenching you with what you inhale

16. Whilst the heights and their precipices
Are for others, dawning or gloaming

17. And how many times do fortunes go straight
Yet yours has a stumbling, slippery step

18. Lowered from where you seek the heights
Deprived from where you seek provision

19. You intend for yourself other than what is intended
So the foot strides and the hand flails

20. Demands you expend time upon
Yet of your lifetime you expend nothing

21. Whilst around you, wherever you see your shepherds
Pasture sprouting and plentiful life

22. A house too dear for its people
And you were not shaken by the pillars

23. And the hearing of the sons of Abdul Rahim
Listens whilst their doors are knocked

24. Their stars shine light for you
So you find your way and their sun rises

25. In the minister's name, so seek the aid
Of the one who opens the door to bounty when shut

26. Have you not seen people in a moment
When the unwise least expects, the cunning devours

27. And he who rides evil, his hands become long
And the cheeks alongside him are chained

28. And in every pasture there is an Abu Ja'da
The place of shepherds bleats therein

29. His tolerance gathers what they scattered
And his kindness combines what they divided

30. You were absent so affairs spread
Then you returned so it poured

31. The sanctity of faith guarded its borders
With a pursuer exhausted behind her

32. And the rabble of its helpers against the necks
Our palms, not hung, support

33. So he corrected whilst the wolf gathers strength
And he judged whilst the stallion ripening

34. A generous one from a refined mould
Who aids the sweet smelling to perfume

35. The eye of Sassan saw in it growth
As it shone in his palm

36. So he nobly cultivated it thereafter
When the attached lineage ripened

37. Stars shone in its horizon
Focusing at the edges of its full moon

38. The seas wish their shells closed
If they were to close from its like

39. A king shepherded you, shepherding kingship through you
With an eye that does not glance away from unfairness

40. And through you he rescued it, so it flourished
While it was a tottering, no escape

41. You carried the ministry, carried unnoticeably
When the burdens had weighed down others

42. And how they handled it, hands tearing
Yet your view in its remedy is more skilful

43. You strove with patience to fix it
While the times' chests were narrowed by it

44. And they turned away from you, though you preceded them
That you untie what you knot

45. And ascend what the men ruptured
And they cannot ascend as you do

46. So be for it, whenever paralyzed
Jewels - your hearts and your circles

47. And you - add more honor, you crown upon it
Let not the crown and headband separate

48. None other than you seeks its praise
Yet it refuses him and snarls

49. People feel refreshed by its breezes
And its streams are most fragrant through you

50. You rose so traits cannot diminish you
Not even with a plunging arrow

51. Swords are drawn in your praise, the starry
Excused, and the conclusive, articulated

52. When serious, you speak flawlessly
And if silent, you hush the vocal

53. So the Lord of eloquent speech thanked
Does it expire with you or run out?

54. Redeem you - and how can it, if it redeems you
Unfettered in its magnificence, secured

55. It is shielded by the land’s barriers
And upon their safety it wanders

56. It imagines your swords seize it
While the door and moat are beyond it

57. And it knows the spear is in your hands
From afar it glimpses or perceives

58. And how can you disguise the secrets of characters
To one whose blue glance is brown

59. Listen to them - be amused by the charming
Sweetness, glamour and elegance therein

60. Guides of speech and its mountains
A path its hooves tread

61. Thunderbolts within the covenant of the preventers
So everything dry through it flourishes

62. Necklaces with honor, pace of stars
For them a west and for them an east

63. Callers with your praise in both horizons
For them, standards wave through you

64. The downpour is yours from its clouds, and the thunderbolt
And near the enemy, the resounding hail

65. It elates a distinguished father
When the foolish poet is born

66. They remain though the speakers perished
And I wouldn't be sad if they remained

67. Reminding you of keeping promises
Even if no pact was placed with you

68. Your avoidance, lest I be seen thirsty
Hovering while your valley pours

69. And its loneliness that my quarter
Does not renew through your eternal rule

70. And that I own a decline like yours
To favor from its like I'm compassionate

71. You see people did not loan its like
As it plummets they took wing

72. And in truth and just rule you are
If they catch up, it will catch up

73. I entrusted you with time's caprice
Yet fate, destructive, missed you

74. And the seven planets revolved for you
However you prefer and choose

75. And thousands were counted for you - the celebrations
Time renews as it creates

76. To visit you, seeking drink, requesting
So your pouring rain immerses him

77. And your glowing face stuns him
Over it, and your brilliant gathering
