Who shrank after growing tall

2. Enduring the harsh cold
Succumbing to great anxiety

3. From the blazing morning
A piercing cry for help

4. I followed hopefully
Peeling away, not starting anew

5. I was the bent branch bearing fruit
In my budding days, unripe

6. A branch fondled with kisses
If only he had not grown up

7. The shadow of darkness when he left
The extinguished sun set

8. Oh if only, but alas no if only helps
A fate dyed before it was woven

9. I was content when he departed
With neither replacement nor compensation

10. He went taking the gems of youth
And death came to take his life

11. An evil guest since he arrived
I denied my old ways

12. An uninvited stranger entered hastily
Wandering the darkness without asking for light

13. Without greeting "Hello living one"
I did not guide him to the young maidens

14. And the nursing ewes
He struggled not celebrating their prime

15. I enticed but he did not consent
To equal flesh in feasting

16. Until he singled out my meat and left
He roused the hyenas and the howling beasts

17. And led me to fresh pastures
Among the rubble and thistles

18. Discarded, not celebrating
Scattered are the filthy thorns

19. Death of youth and passion
I remembered though memories disturb

20. Between valleys and hills
Where my heart once settled

21. Hurling black stones
So the critic will not fail

22. To straighten what the mind skews
So my celebration of foolishness returned

23. Your wounds have not yet healed
Wanderer where did you stray

24. The day of the captive is prolonged
Oh home I have not forgotten

25. When I lodged in isolation
And tears diminished and were little

26. Where are the suns behind the hills
Every dart continues

27. Wounding until it kills
Its blade when polished

28. Dyes it the kohl
Of moderate stature

29. Free of confusion and conceit
Between vigor and laziness

30. If sheltered in origin
Discussing merits

31. With necklaces tied and untied
Of chastity and shyness

32. While left in the shadows
Like the blessed camels

33. Oh fate, you and injustice
Hearing is restricted and tired

34. You were fooled by a futile promise
His standing with all he carries

35. A mind longing for minds
Perhaps a released madman

36. I have returned from under the saddle
As if my deprivation still shadows me

37. As I seek great and glorious matters
With victory of defeated days

38. I rise with fallen fortune
Handling the rough road

39. What hand if not paralyzed
Cannot contain sustenance's tricks

40. What fate did not feed, then toil
Oh my sickness, how can I reach

41. When medicine abets illness
If it is destined ignorance

42. Or sorcery of failed hopes
Caprice may relieve you

43. A master if he speaks, acts
Living son of Job, incline

44. To his sanctum and take shade
He saw people in a man

45. Darkened in the first ten days
And fulfilled while facing

46. He trod the winding paths
To perfection so he perfected

47. If the bough swayed it bore fruit
Or the branch leafed it carried

48. He stretched his hand so he gave
Without the dew, blood is shed in vain

49. The pouring rain quenched it
Trying but could not attain

50. Until when it increased and diminished
He shouted at it and it bent

51. This is generosity without avarice
What young man of high origin

52. If he heeds wisdom
And visits the sick

53. Lord of the secret soul
He attains wisdom and exalts

54. When matters get serious and weighty
The soul of the brave doer is excused for failing

55. And the deep wound pours out
And the remedies of illness persist

56. He plunged into the sea, swam and reached the shore
Wringing the wetness from his clothes

57. Not out of obligation but as a hero
He attacked hastily in respite

58. Persevering the entire night
If the battle was forced upon him

59. He spent a night not slept before
Except to correct the deviant path

60. It would awaken the weary day
For it, behind what was done

61. Is the eye of punishment, the day it prolongs
Of a people satisfied with fortunes

62. Who filled the voids
And differed, so oaths were not tested

63. Their vows became worthless
Not accompanying decent living with benevolence

64. If money is spent, it is justice
The ones restricting it are misers

65. If they worry about poverty
They extracted secrets from the oppressed

66. And rolled up surplus rags
From every smooth,polished fabric

67. Thought to be drawn from a scabbard
As if it were the harvested stalks

68. And they poured onto tender plants
Their swords after the weddings

69. Taking what the family lineage left
I tested the sword and it bent

70. While destitute brothers are few
Muhammad did not resolve

71. To the exemplary old ways
Awake, like all-hearing ears

72. He understands and relies
How eternal this year is for you

73. Of healing the deep wounds
From front and back

74. Detailed and general
Giving freely while the sea was stingy

75. You made me rise above hope
Until you sufficed me and excelled

76. So if words bear fruit
Or the trains divert

77. Then suffer the sorrows of the lowly
Daughters of thought, carefully selected

78. Born without conception
If they pass in the caravan

79. On barren land, it becomes lush
Their carrier of what was conveyed

80. Among the travelers, cheerful and content
As if he started off

81. His day swollen with fruit
Like the arrow of an envious critic

82. He turns away having failed and disgraced
Criticizing what he is ignorant of

83. But loving when he celebrates
The house if they reconciled

84. Or he borrowed from them
Or if he did not speak, he was muddled

85. Who among you is blind to the transformations
Messages do not reach the dead

86. If you are speaking, then say
What comes improvised has reached me

87. From my distress though it did not work
A cup of agony in the mountain

88. Reach out a hand toward Capricorn
When the son of Job guarantied

89. To preserve my secret though I did not attain
Make peace and time will treat you gently

90. Attain honor and endure
Every day facing forwards

91. If mighty matters confine you
You shielded but did not reach

92. And pour when abundant rain flows
You are of a people who accomplish
