That the perfection of the kingdom is from its youth.

27. Welcome an absence that pains -
When the seed pains in its absence.

28. No land settled with their presence
Except another wept over their loss.

29. The hearts' seeds wish to never leave,
To stay among its branches.

30. The shadow of its glory has returned,
And spirits settled in bodies.

31. Its orbits are filled with its meteors,
And the heroes pressed on their seats.

32. Some court it while the marriage ties are in your ropes -
They are the chiefs of its threshold.

33. Oh incapable is he who covets its gown,
While the fierce lion lurks to pounce.

34. After your father you are its breach -
None other can be its pillar.

35. Your face is its lamp in its darkness,
Your palm the melting heat in its solidity.

36. You split virtues and were miraculous -
Souls obey you with devotion.

37. Yielding willingly with desire to you,
With its inclination and compliance to you.

38. When opinions went astray in their gathering,
Yours sufficed, singular.

39. When people worshipped wealth, your spirit nobly refused
To be among its worshippers.

40. A free soul made you earn glory -
You seized glory from your birth.

41. You were advanced and thus chosen as master -
An arrowhead, your glance, from its sharpness.

42. You send its glories to its sons
Throughout its eras of peak and decay.

43. You were the leaders of the land, or its ancestors -
You were nurtured while people were in their cribs.

44. The entirety of the kingdom is eager for you -
However much was wholesome from its daily devotions.

45. When you speak, people are silent before you
Despite the strength of their breath and its prolonging.

46. As if your tongues are destructive to all dams,
Blasting through mountains in their ascent.

47. Auspicious of direction, wherever it turned -
It loosened the ropes of its burdens.

48. If asked, you do not see your money
Increasing except through its expenditure.

49. Sufficing your group from faraway homelands.
That is because since you left me and

50. Prayers I was unaccustomed to,
The gaze of eyes went far from me in you -

51. As if I was made part of its pillows.
I neglected myself, rather I sat confined

52. Bundled in humiliation in its expanse,
Lowering my words if it was said “folly” -

53. I was humbled between its objections and dissent.
Among men whose merits were veiled from me

54. Like the hiding of fire in its flint.
I did not want them - if only I did not fear them -

55. Their hearts groaning with hatred.
Tongues attack me among you with blame,

56. Their words belittling in their minds.
So how, with my contentment, do you think of me?

57. Was it not sickness from its coagulation?
You left me a pearl lost

58. With little experience from its appraisers.
I have no fortune to hope for from others -

59. Of the supplies of life, or its tools.
My heart settles with your protection,

60. Like my eyelids settling in sleep.
You are for my soul in life, and through you

61. I await help at its appointment.
Where then was your patience with the companion

62. Who patience and struggle made sick?
While your absence made it ill, were you

63. With kindness of recollection among those who visit the sick?
Yes, indeed there reached it what afflicted it

64. From the support of your hands and provision.
You stood by the companion with kindness

65. Aiding it, and rescuing it.
So take advantage now of mending its deficiencies,

66. In ample days and its growth.
With your blessings, if its debts are paid,

67. Its total reliance is indebted.
Deferred before and after it

68. From its procedures or birth.
So delegate generosity upon yourself in

69. Repaying it, and order visiting it.
Know that the situation, in delaying it,

70. Narrows, until the promise distances it.
Submit to it, make its travels ample,

71. With your pardon and striving for it.
The long distance is for you from its horses -

72. It does not approve austerity for you.
The earth’s expanse belongs to it, even its surfaces

73. Inclined while still rising.
My feet - may its camels not tie them down,

74. Or its steeds detain them.
It listens deeply or imagines me

75. To take the steward’s place in singing of it.
As if it were the stars upon the Throne -

76. To ignite the greens with its flames.
From its rein-hooks, it nearly turns white

77. What the writer blackened from his ink.
It breathes relief in describing your blessings,

78. And guiding to your virtues.
While you remain its jewel for the ceremony,

79. And crown upon its holidays.
With ties to you, O best father,
