1. She walks away after every step,
A farewell upon a morning departure.

2. Is it not just a nap, so pardon her for it,
And suffice you both to awake her gently.

3. Else the wind will blow faster folded,
And how much longing blew within me winds of passion.

4. I say to her while the stars light her path,
There, lean towards me, you bird of success.

5. Carry her in the clouds, then sprinkle
My regards to her in the most tender meadow.

6. And say "Greetings, O soul's delight,
A downpour of longing in the mist of comfort."

7. I complained of fervent love, where can I find patience,
And I slept, O night, where is my morn?

8. It teased you that you were too kind,
To see when the guide gets upset, how my wings flutter!

9. May God protect a gazelle roaming freely,
With the zeal of a heart permissible to passion.

10. And affection is granted to the frank excuse,
Yours to me, though not every excuse is frank.

11. Messages tempt me and books allow me,
My echo is sweet water to quench a meadow.

12. She waves at me whenever a passerby goes by,
From a corner of it she wept at corners.

13. With whom, I wish I knew, and her "I wish" is wonder,
My youth returns if I carry my weapon.

14. Tell me, did you lure me into affection,
Then rebuked me, O companion, a companion's rebuke?

15. And have you shot the causes of heaven in order
To soar but a bird in my wings?

16. May God water my soul, how honorable her loyalty was
To some whom I love, though miserly.

17. I desire victory over you, but am held back
By passion that blame did not taint.

18. So I sheathe my swords in mourning's scabbard
And break with love the arrows' heads.

19. Do not deny these habits, just
My tongue is drunk while my heart is awake.

20. And do not obligate me to blame completely
For your corruption in it, I am pure in my healing.

21. And when what gladdened my senses came to me,
And absolved me of those afflictions' wounds,

22. I mixed congratulations with grievances, hoping
My seriousness would turn jest.

23. And so oh God what happiness
Informs me of what triumphant celebration?

24. If Virgo was the buyer's necklace,
And anything but her is ugly to the ugly.

25. The two fortunate ones will not coincide,
The dearest wombs to the dearest dwellings.

26. And if it were said, "Other than the sun was sent as a gift
To the moon," I would not rejoice in her wedding.

27. For you are the sons of fleeting wealth in fate,
A shield for honors over which right prevails.

28. A youth like swings, prohibitions branched off
Away from elders seasoned in purpose.

29. Seek tomorrow auspicious and blessed through her,
Abu Al-Husayn, announcing success.

30. As if you see the youths around you cooing
For a day of pasture or a day of struggle.

31. Good morning, good morning, everyday brings news
Of seven like the full moons, morning.
