30. The times slipped the day after you, slips
Whose disgraces are not covered by masks

31. Disgrace harvested disgrace upon the years
And your day among them is the year’s disgrace

32. None fortified our borders equal to you
Except one who arched beyond your opinion’s bow

33. Walking in the ways he saw you pave
Like a cub relying on the thumb

34. Do you hear me and I remain settled
In you? The weakness of my understanding despite my eloquence?

35. I gathered to ready your grave from the heat
Of my heart, so my confusion increased

36. A grave in which I mixed my tears with its soil
And called you, so now it is a flooding sea

37. And adorn it over a ripped shirt, it
Redeemed shirts with flags

38. And I stood to reward you with eulogy, mourning
Woe to me, if that were my stance

39. This is my reward, and that is no bounty
For what I bestowed, so how was my passion?

40. If you sprinkled my arrival and its jug broke
Or if you clothed my bones in emaciation

41. If I have no day among you specially for me
I knew you to have wholesome days

42. And I am accounted truthful when I genuinely weep you
Among preservers and maintainers of kinship

43. I pray and tie you in one sanctuary
Though the two branches differed in portions

44. And if ancestry and relations intertwined and met
Your father was among my uncles

45. A nobility that connected us in Persia
With the solemn oaths of covenant

46. They scorn with aloofness after their setting
While the heavens are praised for bodies

47. And I gathered in your praise, guiding
Your elegy, so I blamed the best of blamers

48. They opened your tomb in the dwellings of soil
That you neighbored, sealing a good seal

49. And you descended among Mudar though your people are others
After death, among the most noble of peoples

50. How did you turn when you are in two sanctuaries’ protection
Of a martyr, master, and imam?

51. You became, by descending upon them
O vast, what a lodging you were given of honor!

52. So when the gardens are adorned tomorrow for them
You will join them, entering in peace
