1. I gently come to you with a poem
Soft words of sweet affection in the air

2. Tears of longing, pain of separation
Yet in you I find my only solace

3. A flash of your smile lights up my life
O you who ask about the pleasant breeze

4. His shirt is soaked with the scent of union
That is the greeting of my beloved, so dear

5. In his promise, veils are lifted near
When he appears, greens refresh those in despair

6. My critic returned with gentle grace
As though a soft wind flowed from his place

7. He hid his betrayal, showed his excuse
For to the lover, all barriers diffuse
