1. My firm belief in the One God who has no partner,
No minister, nor mother, nor child.

2. O One, Only One, Singular, O Eternal Refuge,
You are the All-Dominating, even if time has turned against me.

3. You are the Protector, for whoever comes seeking refuge,
At Your door of generosity, spreading his arms and hands.

4. My Lord, through Your generosity, the universe flourishes,
You have been generous, even to those who deny eternity.

5. You, who protected our dignity during the Night Journey,
So protect my dignity, through Your aid I rely on.

6. We ask only You, we hope for none but You,
And scorn those enslaved by wealth.

7. We were weak, but God was our helper,
Good tidings to those who make God their creed.

8. Provide me, my Lord, an easy living in this life,
And in the Hereafter, my Master, be my pillar of strength.
