1. O Egypt, follow in their footsteps and stop
At those stations in their most sublime paths

2. Do not let what they said or wrote discourage you
Misleading and obscuring in the wilderness

3. If they prevent people from speaking, they haven’t prevented
Truth from speaking out with complaint and expressing it

4. Truth is too great to be dominated
By a hand, no matter how long the ignorance persists

5. God did not let any nation go astray that walked
The path of pride with Him as its guide

6. So emulate the greatest nation that rode
The saddle of glory when purpose led it

7. It remained united though diverse, so it is one
In purpose when it saw many adversaries

8. O sign of pride, why don't you descend as
You descended upon Egypt and its people

9. So that you may drag behind you, dragged
By us before, the Turks wandering their homelands

10. O worshippers, you are its source today
And in your protection, God willing, its inspiration
