1. Live a never-ending era that just begins
And be done with this world, act nobly and renew

2. So when a known period ends
And is tied to a most felicitous unexperienced period

3. You then particularly endure with eternal glory
That does not diminish and with an eternal long life

4. Seek what you desired to attain and be rightly guided in what you wanted to accomplish
And wear the crescent of the horizon as a necklace and speak

5. The stars of the galaxy and wear Alfarqad
And drape over Ash-Shi’raa for crossing clothes

6. That crossed over the body of the most glorious Imam
In it is the breeze of the Father of the Imams Haydar

7. And the breeze of the best of Prophets Muhammad
And tie the crown upon yourself and know that it

8. Is tied with glory even if it is not tied
In it embedded are many glories

9. That suffice it from pearls and peridot
And hang the sword that resembles its sheath

10. So it is as if it is an unsheathed well-honed sword
Many defeated remnants due to its sharpness as if

11. It is that which breaks the lips of the eloquent
It is singular in the sheath unless it

12. Pairs everything singular in might
In the palm of the most splendid, if he gestures with his sword

13. You would see the sword’s sharpness is not bare
And ride the steeds of the Prophet's son, spirited

14. Like an eagle, galloping into the wilderness
Of every strong-boned steed well-girded

15. Like the lead, the chief of the defiant herd
Trotting easily with the gait of its saddle

16. The gait of the tethered though it is not tethered
And when it runs under the stallion by its Lord

17. It imprints the new moon on the surface of the ice
And behind your back a banner raised

18. Guiding the misguided from misguidance to guidance
Like the beautiful doe havinglovelocks

19. Fondling and with affection and amity
Whenever the morning breeze fluttered with it

20. The hearts of the envious fluttered
The Imam tied its branches with his right hand

21. A bond he guaranteed for the most felicitous survival
And next to it the white standards as if they were

22. A meadow overflowing on the beloved river
Of gold and chiseled and latticed

23. And feathered and gilded and reddened
And Al-Buzal the carrier of domes as if they were

24. Intoxicated from too much roving and wandering
From Sab'Sab to Sab'Sab or jungle

25. From jungle or creek to creek
They left the station of the Prophet's son and came

26. Erect, seeking the abode of As-Sudud
And their necks craned in yearning

27. In Egypt for the most distant foreign land
And travelled until they crossed under the darkness

28. The sand of Arish and the sand of DhatAl-Gharqad
And disliked the water of Al-Jifar and tried

29. Water of a coast, fresh sweet water
And avoided the sea of Tyre, seeking

30. Through Syria the refuge of the determined
And came to Tripoli, their hearts almost

31. Overflowing from residing lasting longing
And intended to pass Marqiyya and it has changed

32. From frequenting the Baid Mount
And it complained of the abundance of clouds and of how much

33. The intensity of yearning in their hearts did not cool
And aimed for Hama and the clouds hindered it

34. From intending like the thorns of Wars hinder
And aimed for Krak des Chevaliers and the fullness of their chests

35. Is a longing hotter than hellfire
And they traversed the land of Ma`arrah and spread

36. The breeze of life from the straightest path
And at Sermin land they were relieved after

37. Complaining of perennial weariness to the eternal
And it came intending the best intender

38. In destiny and nearest obtainer from meeting
Until it came to the king, the light of his forehead

39. Like the light of the glowing full moon
So he gave them the house of bliss and relieved them

40. After despairing from shuttered tribulation
My soul be sacrificed for the habituated king, his soul

41. Habituated with the highest of customs of the habituated
If he is munificent and erred

42. He connives and neither envies nor gathers rancor
Women gave birth from men inclinations

43. That cannot be counted and none like him has been born
Thanking the Imam for the number of his bounties

44. Thanking of the lover to the encroaching cloud
As for the Commander of the Faithful, he knows

45. That generosity is not refuted to you
So remove from the countries and its people

46. Blame, feared to fall as if it already had
And may you be praised as you were praised in Tupl

47. And the horses stumble amongst the purposeful river
Unbelief from you and your brother flees

48. Fleeing of the juvenile from the flashing thunder
Were it not for your smiting swords, those who are at the frontiers

49. And who are at Barqah would have met
But your resolves refused to bend

50. Or bend yielding, even the skin of the wolf
You have supported Islam, indeed your swords

51. Are the greatest support to fortresses of Islam
Were it not for you, the soft cloud would be unattainable

52. And grace handcuffed
The Father of Ulwān has become peerless amongst you

53. So I have stayed up late composing unmatched poetry for him
And in it I composed whimsical elegies

54. That make me forget the elegies of Ahmad
His virtues have been enumerated, they said

55. Be concise for the rain is not enumerated
Shut your eyes to them for the sun’s glow may

56. Blind the eyes of the blind
You have depleted your wealth upon generosity and have not left

57. To give and bestow in the day what should in tomorrow
O best one my riding beast has arrived to

58. And his courtyard has housed the necks of the canopied mounts
Ascending to highness is not easy

59. Indeed glory is of steep access
Whoever has grasped your palm has not ceased to be certain

60. That the clouds emulate in generosity the palm of your hand
If only the ancients saw you, they would have seen

61. The equipment of the latter most and the inferiority of the primitive
You have beautified life as if you are

62. A white good omen in the face of pitch-black time
