2. And keep safe the one of high worth and station,
In a stable blessing, steadfast.

3. As if it were your love in my soul,
O great king of the world.

4. O generous in giving and in speech,
If harm and benevolence were asked,

5. โ€œCan the two kinds be joined in a human?โ€
They would say, โ€œWe were joined in Abu Al-Ulwan.โ€

6. The noblest horseman counted among horsemen,
And the most generous of people in dew of munificence.

ูˆูŽุฃูŽุบุฒูŽุฑู ุงู„ู†ุงุณู ู†ูŽุฏู‰ ุจูŽู†ุงู†ู

7. So it is a wonder, food for the voracious,
The towns get a turn, and so do contemporaries.

ููŽู„ูู„ู‚ูŽุฑู‰ ุทูŽูˆุฑุงู‹ ูˆูŽู„ูู„ุฃูŽู‚ุฑุงู†ู

8. So he is unique, can any match him?
No, by the God of everlasting bodies.

9. The dark-eyed virgins are books of mischief,
The languid-eyed ones, faces of the young lambs,

ุงู„ูˆุงุดูุญุงุชู ุฃูŽูˆุฌูู‡ูŽ ุงู„ุบููŠุทุงู†ู

10. And the veiled ones, hills of the pasture.
The platoons of death march from the horsemen

ุถูŽุฑุงุฆูุจูŽ ุงู„ุนูŽุทุจู ู…ูู†ูŽ ุงู„ุงุฑุณุงู†ู

11. Swooping down in disheveled exile.
They leaned on the fore parts of the warships

12. As if they were a vanishing palm-frond,
Until they saw the youth of youths

13. Who saved them from the disgrace of humiliation.
So they woke to the most honorable songs

14. As if they were in the blossoms of gardens,
With the gentle, not rough, youth

15. Helper of Qais and youth of Qahtan
Not for grasping hands or deceit.

ู„ุง ู„ูุญูŽุฒู ุงู„ูƒูŽูู‘ู ูˆูŽู„ุง ู‡ูุฏู‘ุงู†ู

16. White like a Yemeni sword,
Like the full moon, now waxing, now waning.

ูกูฆ. ุฃูŽุจูŠูŽุถู ู…ูุซู„ู ุงู„ุตุงุฑู… ุงู„ูŠูŽู…ุงู†ูŠ
ูƒูŽุงู„ุจูŽุฏุฑ ุฐูŠ ุณูุชู ูˆูŽุฐูŠ ุซูŽู…ุงู†ู

17. O climax of hopes and wishes,
O wealth of the far and near settled one.

18. You are the one who has humbled my time for me,
And you are the one who sharpened my youthful vigor.

19. Your abounding grace has enriched me,
So I no longer see poverty, nor does it see me.

20. What does the critic seek from me?
Your knowledge of the envious has sufficed me.

21. So I will build from my tongue for you
Wondrous things no builder has built.

22. So suffice yourself, enriching the meaningful,
With the beauty of beauty of Ibn Hani.
