Until I relied on the son of Ismail

2. So I obtained the sublime rank, which will not cease
To contain the sublime one who sought the aid of the sublime

3. Were it not for the minister Abu Ali, I would have never
Found a way to the most high honor

4. If the vicissitudes of fate had marred the past
The ugly has now become beautiful to me

5. And the greatest reason men esteem their alliances
Is to seek honor and veneration

6. Today I obtained what I sought
While yesterday seeking it was an impossibility
