is like his, above every high wall

6. If the seven seas swallowed it
and you commanded them to throw it out immediately

7. Your day is a day of dew and a day of descent
You silenced the clamor of misguidance and led it

8. to the sacrifice of the submissive after the howl
And you shot the home of the polytheists with arrows

9. in which you mixed up war after preparation
And you stirred up terror amidst their confusion and dust

10. A terror that makes the forelocks of infants turn white
Above al-Khaṭīm when you tore up their leader

11. Blows whose predecessors have no succession
Blows with which you filled a Frankish oven

12. with his heat which makes the swords blaze
And in the violation of their inviolable territory

13. panic in which sleep is not lawful
They froze on the iron bridge, its iron

14. a spring whose basins the mountain monasteries pour
You shook their land with the impact of thunderbolts

15. that gave us safety from earthquakes
When trapped, you tucked up your tail under it

16. and victory is above you, lowering its tails
In a glorious, Mahmudian state

17. that pulled the cloak of praise without humiliation
Its conquests make one forget past conquests

18. and reap the flowers of discourse with magnificent deeds
It wore, with the light of religion, the light of gardens

19. whose fruits are wondrous virtues
A King who secludes himself on the throne with a roar

20. whose edges flowed over archways
Whose beloved charms peeked out

21. from a Burda robe instead of the substitute
He raised the portico with the lightning of Antiochia

22. and threw the gulf with tired eyelids
A full moon drew the glory

23. from the fifteenth surah of victory
The success of destiny dissolved it in talc water

24. while hoarding wealth makes one miss opportunities
Dividing equally between the two lofty halves
