You are the best of kings, in religion and worldly affairs

Their ships would be wrecked on your shores

6. And they would be surrounded by you
Like the letter noon or galloping horses

7. With sails unfurled, coasts extended, favors granted, and palms spread
With joyful greetings, good intentions, and strong ropes

8. Between an enemy who kills the vicious
And a gift that brings life to the Muslims

9. Thousands of conquests unfold from you
You are too lofty for the hundreds to count

10. Whenever you don a garment of mighty victory
More noble goals come to you, clearly conquered

11. God has averted from you the passing of eras
You taught time itself to be gentle

12. O son of one who united the plains with glory
And made the heights shine with his brilliance

13. His fortress on the meadows of this religion
Became from the evil of enemies, impregnable fortresses

14. How loud is their neighing in the winds of the north
Their echo beyond the gulf is melodious

15. O pillar of guidance, righteousness kept you
For wisdom, then might maintained you

16. God has heard in you a call for tranquility
They have made of your protection an unbreachable refuge

17. You have archived them through hardships so you revived
Corpses buried in the dust

18. Clothe them in your embroidered justice so they fancied
Maidens in their bloom and little sons

19. Your sleepless eyes kept watch as they slept
Under the wings of your care, secure
