2. I came to congratulate every house
To the immortal martyr, and the living life

3. Above a cloud of longing I walked
From its call the desert sprang plants

4. The rapture of love guided me and I walked
To Kuwait, which I loved to eulogize

5. In my eulogies to honor a voice I willed
And from my eulogies the knight raises his sword

6. And for dignity, I am exposed in every house
And refinement overcomes arrogance

7. Oh Kuwait, who disobeyed the aggressor
When some of the people forget favors

8. When treason appeared, we said to it, "Begone!"
Every devil we stoned with pebbles

9. The world turned against them and I triumphed
And the army of the treacherous souls was defeated

10. Oh falcon, when promised, you said and fulfilled
The tyrants of Russia returned humiliated

11. I did not waver, or hoard, or complain
Towering like firmly rooted mountains

12. May God guide you, O Sanafe, and you found guidance
And victory is from the Lord of the creatures

13. No honest man is covered in shame
We did not forget, O Kuwait, the predecessors

14. When glory settled in our home, sweet was the night's stay
You hosted us during the time of the deputies

15. Until Abu Turki appeared atop the plateau
And fate brought together the mountains of Sarah

16. Raising the Quran and the sharpened sword
And regained rule after it had passed

17. Oh dawn, and oh Saud, you are the ones I chose
Your absence saddened the shepherd of the hills

18. And oh prince, who walked the sublime
Bridging rifts, commendable traits

19. In your country, all honor I found
And the noble were not content with mere duties

20. In Kuwait poetry gave me and I gave
And in Kuwait poetry has taste and sweetness
