1. May God make me a servant and protect me
From sovereignty, for it is ominous

2. As long as I am bound by duties and veils
While the light is unveiled and the secret concealed

3. The height of sovereignty, I am made in its image
Yet I am a ruler and people are ruled

4. To be a creation is what's required of my making
God is its creator and the matter is understood

5. If I stand, it is by Him I stand or if I am for Him
This is the intent that is known in the Shariah

6. So may God grant me what befits Him
Of wisdoms containing division

7. I have spoken truth yet know not its way
And He is the Speaker though I am deluded

8. By delusion was what I said, was for Him
For the onlooker in it is command and judgment

9. The judgement is the judgement of my devotion if realized
Between me and the True God divided

10. Whoever is kingly in his disposal
Is that person among people deprived

11. Blind, ignorant, weak in opinion, confused
He is the unjust and in truth oppressed

12. And whoever is servile in his turning
Is that person thanked and mercy blessed

13. This is the station I seek and have won
And I in it am protected and infallible
