So what appears to the eye of it is what

6. The Merciful feeds our perfumed bodies with,
Just as He feeds from it a embodied soul,

7. So I said: And who fed it from His heavens?
And it was said to us: Jesus the Messiah, son of Mary,

8. To him belongs the pure merging of the soul of a scribe
With his registry when he was adorned with Adam,

9. So he embodied souls and spirited bodies
And to him belonged the judgment whenever he intended,
