1. I have a generous Lord whom I find
As we know or believe Him to be

2. He is part of me and I am part of Him
And so in every case I find Him

3. Everyone who got what I got
From an Existence whose scene is sublime

4. My teacher who disciplined me
Is a person present in my existence

5. He is part of me, a fatherly guide
And I am part of him like a son

6. I do not name him because I know
He dislikes that, but rather worships Him

7. And so I spoke of a person for Him
Who has narrated from the Sublime Authority

8. We did not intend for any reward but Him
He is my provision so I seek from Him

9. He is the deputy of our Creator
So we depend on Him being pleased with us

10. Whoever knows Him out of ignorance
Should see we worship Him in every case

11. And with this command we were charged
And taught that this is His aim

12. So let there be with you a knowledgeable one
Fair, whom you know, not denying Him
