1. Every act of mine, its ruling
Is between obligation, permission, and abhorrence

2. Then reprehensible and dangerous, so look
All this is the essence of righteousness

3. The knowledge of the essence, its description is transcendence
Then names of meanings made permissible

4. And descriptions of the act an imposed deed
Then with it is success and prosperity

5. So look at what I said about our Creator
And adhere to the path and say no confusion

6. For all the people, He has made them prosperous
Between restriction and saying with leniency

7. So the one who unleashed among them his knowledge
Is the Lord of war, conflict, and struggle

8. The only knowledge I seek
Is with my God, it is with the clear law

9. The residence of the person who enjoys it
His known house among us in abundance
