1. Generosity suits Him, and poverty suits us
So be for Him, be only for Him and for us

2. There is nothing in existence but poverty, and it has
No opposite - what they term in terminology: riches

3. Where are riches when I, in my essence, accept
What He wants to create, and creation is from me

4. So creation is from me and from Him; consider well
This wonder I have told you was before me

5. Through Him I am like one I gave as a parable
And through the existence of those loyal to us

6. We have been linked in a matter that has no separation
From Him and what is from Him from my origination from us

7. Like a conclusion - creation was from nothingness
And was not from an existence bearing tranquility

8. The essence of marriage appeared, revealing it
In its two images, but God used a metaphor

9. Our land shone with the light of its Creator
Like a soul when He proportioned a body for it

10. And the soul in creation is from body and from soul
God created it for that reason, so we sought causes

11. So I have not ceased seeking His existence for the existence of Bestower
The cause of poverty in us is the cause binding us

12. If He did not exist I would not exist; if I did not see Him He would not see
So creation is from me through Him and knowledge from Him of us

13. If not for the Prophet, soundly, what he brought you
A clear text he related in the Quran to us

14. In Surat Al-Anbiya, the Flower, among throngs
He brought a letter of clear refusal to us

15. This evidence of His possibility and thus
If He willed, choosing would have been from Him from it for us

16. And if it were to be from loins it would have been from a body
In the onlooker’s eye, no loss would be perceived by us

17. He was manifested to a people in their dreams
So they saw Him, witnessing, a goodly vision

18. Like meanings beautified whose bodies
Are like knowledge one drinks in sleep, pure milk to us
