1. Turn away from virtue as much as you can
For virtue will come to you if you obey

2. Your Lord has accepted your prayer
When you prayed sincerely to be heard

3. And He said: "O My servant be vigilant
About all that you have gathered

4. And proclaim the command of God, you will see
The outcome of truth if proclaimed

5. And remove for Him the status of grandeur
Your hearing will be praised if removed

6. And bow when you come to a basin
For the water is guaranteed if you bow

7. Do not be greedy when you see profit
For loss will come to you if you are greedy

8. If you speak wisely in a matter
You think is good, you have set right

9. So be not one of passion and opinion
And do not assign beyond your ability

10. And do not imitate or make excuses
If you are sent, buy directly

11. If you are Jesus and heal
Those raised to you immediately

12. Or you are Jesus and revive
The dead in their graves placed

13. Or you are an eye for every being
And its mercy you have spread

14. You would have been for nature in vileness
Reaping what you have sown

15. Until when you finish with it
God raises you, so you rose

16. Gathered in the eye of every being
Looking at what you have made

17. Of every good and every evil
You learned for what you have gathered

18. God has a rope, so hold to it
For if you cut His rope

19. You will be miserable, so see in which land
Will be your abode if you fall

20. Surely you will have good from Him
If you are right with Him you prospered

21. Or you had a tribulation with a child
And in the morning you were bereaved

22. Or your soul thirsted during the day
From fasting or you were hungry in it

23. You became good in every way
And you were lost with it placed

24. Not every time is solitary
Taking off you what you took off

25. Or God prevents you from a matter
You were prohibiting before

26. It is not proper to buy souls
With the sale of superfluities, so you did not take

27. From His possession what you bought of it
Until He bought it and you did not recover

28. God's sky tightened around it
While You, Lord of Highness, are capacious

29. Without means or cunning
If He did not see that, you would not be capacious

30. You have expanded us in mercy and knowledge
For to You, our Lord, we were crafted

31. God asks every servant
In His knowledge did you get full?

32. So say to Him: "My Lord, my hunger
Does not end for what You legislated

33. Whoever I was in, I was from Him
Or I was Him from You I did not revert

34. So do not say to the One who gave me
Mercy from You I became content"

35. If I was absent from Him in the west a sun cycle
Upon Him from His east you rose

36. If you strive do not care
On which side in it you fell

37. You were a servant but became king
For that, by God, you did not benefit

38. If He is you do not be Him
And beware of knocking if you knocked

39. For if the Messenger calls you one day
Then rush to him if you panicked

40. And beware of the matter of a near one
You will prosper in it if you worried

41. They make you swallow the river in anger
If you took a gulp of it you sipped

42. And if he calls for connection one day
You, by God, have not dropped

43. Deception is of the traits of intimates
Do not be fooled in it if you were fooled

44. You will definitely grasp upon departure
What you imprinted in it

45. Of the strangest matter is that a saying
Is answered in it and not heard

46. Because it was not speech
From you or them, it was cut off

47. Look to His saying exalted
About the People of the Cave if you looked

48. Filled with awe so you increased distance
And with this you did not ward off

49. O most courageous of people in fighting
You encouraged by His support

50. God has made, my beloved
Good in your hands if you sufficed
