1. Whoever is armored will emerge protected over the sanctuary
And none know of him except the generous

2. A people you see, when the Most Merciful surprises them
Dazed and confused by Him in the assembly of resolves

3. They worship none but their Lord, the Most Merciful
In the form of the letter 'nun', nay the form of the pen

4. Thus He beautifies it for a time and makes it vague
Then details it clearly for the nations

5. When He lines it on the Tablet you recognize it
The people of recitation, both Arab and non-Arab

6. For each class of the classes, their religion
And mine is the religion of God's law from the beginning

7. When I practice it, my Lord distinguishes me
Among its people, the people of this remembrance and wisdom
