1. The eye is one, and the matter is one,
And the many arose only by what He decreed.

2. The One, the Single, lineages have arisen through Him,
So He who was called Single became Great.

3. When names became manifold, it was said to us:
"Where is oneness and multiplicity that appeared?"

4. These are lineages which have no existence,
And judgment does not apply to what does not exist, as has become clear.
