1. I am Adam of names, not Adam of substance
So I have in the sky and earth what was hidden

2. But in terms of names and existence
I have nothing in it if it is fulfilled by the equal

3. I am the seal of the absolute existence
Therefore I endured what burden it contains

4. If you have knowledge of my words and my purpose
And the rulings of what wisdom is in the whole of the part

5. Then do not take words from every speaker
Even if he does not know what he said is mockery

6. Indeed the true word rely on it
And do not neglect it and resort to the beginning

7. He has extended shade over me even though I am its light
For if I were not in the shade, I would still be in shelter

8. The Most Merciful has exalted my creation for whoever realizes
And the greatest rank is the person who was in creation

9. And I am not one who perishes so I am not vanishing
And I am not one who repels adversity with adversity

10. But I am a shield for whoever comes seeking
My help, so believes in the shield

11. And when He includes me in the coldness of His pardon
To him for my sin that I am under His warmth

12. And it is stranger that I am evidence by my creation
And I do not hope for innocence yet I incline towards innocence

13. And that is only the rule of my heedlessness with which
I was specified and it is what has not ceased to make me oblivious
