1. With money can be led astray
Each hardened soul on earth and in heaven

2. Thinking it a veil
They knew not the joy of giving

3. Were it not for what it stirs in souls
None would God heed when praying

4. Think not money what you see
Of glistening marble for beholders

5. But rather what made you, my son
Independent of aid

6. So in the Lord Most High find wealth
And serve the Truth in constancy
