1. Glorifying your Lord in glorifying what He has legislated
So be loud, for the one who is loud is the happiest of people

2. But with the command of the One whose legislation came to you
Strive with one foot, so thank Him when He made you strive

3. So be with Allah in the arrangement of His wisdom
Indeed, the one with my Lord will not be with anyone else

4. Understand my words, for understanding makes you happiest
And do not deviate from it, for knowledge has gathered

5. It is the evidence of Him, do not leave it neglected
For destruction is in abandoning what the Merciful legislated

6. Knowledge is of two halves, one half cannot be reached
By thinking, thus the rule of thinking has been denied

7. And its second half, sound thinking can reach it
And its status is not like the one who merely listened

8. And all of it is truth, and I did not do justice in it or
To that there is a rebuttal, so whoever realizes has gathered

9. For Him is perfection, so no person can resist Him
The making of Allah, so the generosity of Allah made me generous

10. And by Allah, if my soul knew who it knew
Existence would be too narrow for it, however much it widened

11. The heart recognizes my Lord from its ups and downs
Like its conditions, whether it walked straight or turned back

12. And the soul is ignorant of Him because of its desires
And its eyes did not weep over separation from the Truth

13. When it fortified itself against Him, it started seeking Him
And if it got close to Him, it would not have turned back

14. And an example has circulated which makes one realize its form:
The most beloved thing to man is what he is deprived of
