1. I am the hidden secret
Created without structure

2. My Creator organized in me
When He created me

3. So I am a rock from which
Meanings gush forth

4. And I am with loftiness
Like the horses of Duhān

5. I am the one who hid
My body from sights

6. And who obeyed my Lord
Willingly when He called me

7. So whoever sees my existence
In the turns of time

8. Like the heart of Moses’ mother
Empty of meanings

9. He is truly the intimate
Of the truths of eloquence

10. For I am the origin of meanings
And I am the foundation of songs

11. And I am the secret of the Imam
Noble, lofty in status

12. His knowledge the most perfect knowledge
His stature the greatest stature

13. He cared for me when he saw me
In the gardens of Paradise

14. I won’t name him, for I
Fear the sharp swords

15. And whoever understands my words
Is Sakhr ibn Sinan

16. The most generous of existence in palms
Steadfast against blames

17. For I and the mother and the grandmother
And the grandfather are the meanings

18. In our existence together from existence
Without time

19. Like what gleams to an eye
In the air, Yemeni lightning
