1. The constellations are destined places
In an atlas where days make their rounds

2. And will remain until there is no end
So preserve it, let not its form veil you today

3. For its change has no effect in eternity
But its change affects the pillars

4. If not for its motion, we'd not know what time is
In it is our confusion, and its confusion

5. And its straightness is but its leaning
For it is a defect, and all are its defects

6. So whatever effect you see in existence
If you verify, is its very image

7. Thus every position in the universe is apparent
And in truth it is but its form

8. So do not blame an era you do not know
For the era is from the One whom nature witnessed

9. Through it things continued and passed
So the way of time with things is its way

10. And none knows it except He who is well
With the Overseer in the secret of His confidant

11. No foot turned but to say it turned its anklet
Except to say it turned its stream
