1. If the light comes from Mount Sinai or from Faran,
It returned as fire to Moses as he wished.

2. So speak to Him as you need,
And let things take their natural course with Him.

3. And if the Lord of time and circumstance
Wills good fortune for his family,

4. With sincere truth he facilitates.
But as for me, for the sake of Ahmad,

5. I saw nothing but misfortune
That quenched our comfort like water.

6. That saying pertained only to a spot
In the valley he named Mount Sinai for us.

7. And hear me recite sanctified words about it,
Clear speech - eloquence without gesture.

8. Without judging us according to our state,
God the Protector brought tidings.

9. So I met every name of my being and His,
When the seer is fair, he distinguishes names.

10. And next to me were eloquent companions,
But he did not divulge to me anything for their sake.

11. No words are repeated in the same way,
Except that everything in creation is for God - it is His original creation.

12. When minds die from excessive thought,
Insight comes to revive them with the truth.

13. He had concealed it from me for the sake of my companions,
For they would deny what He said was a concealment.

14. He concealed it, and it did not appear; He called it, and it did not respond.
And the call was at night, so He journeyed by night.

15. In order to reveal signs and show wonders
To the onlooker, until when He finished,

16. He returned to his family with all feeling and strength.
He brought near those He loved and destroyed enemies.

17. And He sent angels in all His reality,
To Him in love and intimate portions.

18. And He manifested traces worn by time,
So He brought out the dead and buried the living.

19. And by the letter Kaf He revealed what had blinded
Minds from perceiving equivalence and parity.

20. The parables were only by His light,
So they were a shadow for Him, and enlightening knowledge.

21. And He sent pouring rains that rained down
For a purpose - varieties of showers, and prohibited others.

22. He blessed you with every beautiful thing
If you request it, it inspires from the night a call.

23. So it fragranced customs for which it fragranced,
Removing sickness from its lush meadow.

24. And He made it eliminating sickness from it,
So it was a cure for poison and remedies.

25. And flowers bloomed in it from every side -
Stars rising in the branches and illuminations.

26. The spaces between them had hoped in it,
So He conveyed to them the best and greatest blessing.

27. This is the knowledge of the people, if you seek it.
Leave aside your purposes that bar and caprice.
