1. My heart is joyful and sorrowful with your remembrance,
For it possesses a glance and coloration.

2. If its ambition soared in the sky of unveiling,
It would not possess ecstasy and constitution.

3. But it strayed from the purpose of the path, so it
Did not attain it, thus it is miserable among people.

4. Until a longing caller called out,
Drawing its ambition toward my heart in a swoon.

5. And it flashed a lightning in the horizons of the air,
By which it became blissful and infatuated.

6. The clouds are flowing and the wind blowing,
The lightning snatching and the water gushing.

7. And it brought out all that the realm of bodies contains,
The land of India and China smelled fragrant.

8. You do not see an observatory above the earth of bodies,
Except adorned with lights.

9. And whenever novelties appear in the bodies,
And known, measured secrets in the hearts,

10. The heart delights in turning over its scene,
Stingy with every aspect of adornment.

11. The body is a sphere in the sea of generosity,
Stirred by a western wind laden with secrets.

12. And the rider of the sphere, as long as
The wind of Divine Law steers it, is protected and granted success.

13. The captain turned his prow toward Oneness,
And through it the highest assembly felt reassured.

14. If you could see it when the wind of passion stirs it,
It moves while having no motion or stillness.

15. The elements within man are deposited -
Fire, light, and clay, measured within him.

16. So deposit connection between me and
My Lord, obligatory and measured.

17. The secret, by God, of my creation and character -
When realized - is connected and measured.

18. It says, "I am the heart of the Truth, so consider:
The heart of the Book of God is Ya Sin."

19. After what came to me from Its breath,
In my inception, from Its eternal realm.

20. The protected King does not know my cause,
Nor the accursed dragon who laments.

21. When the screens of my domain's clay
Were veiled from His knowledge in the mud,

22. The cloud of blindness would block Him from me
And my attributes, while I was stored in the unseen.

23. So when I stood up within Him, He became proud,
Walking gently, softness in His sides.

24. When the heart ascended on high, beyond
Eden, alluring houris with eyes were there.

25. But it did not yield the bridle to them
When it passed by its passions, debts, and sins.

26. So when it stood above the Throne, the Tablet,
Pen, All-Knowing, and the Letter Nun pledged allegiance.

27. If you could see it when it concealed its reality,
Given success in stabilizing the Truth.

28. If it manifested upon a cosmos through its wisdom,
Appointing it over that cosmos' summit.

29. It continues saying to the created, "Be!"
For the sport of creation in the abode.

30. And every heart distracted from the secret of Its wisdom
In every cosmos - that heart is deluded.

31. So know you do not know your God unless
Within you there is an inspirer and qualities.

32. So know your God before death, for if
You die, you are imprisoned by imitation.

33. And if you are unveiled in the east of Its scene
With knowledge - the high and low are sanctified in you.

34. And everything It conceals and reveals
Of obligations, forbiddance and recommendation shone forth.

35. So understand, my dear, a secret of God in you, but do not
Reveal it, for it is hidden from strangers.

36. And guard it as long as you live through it,
For the secret is dead in the heart of the free, buried.
