1. My affairs, O my Master, have perplexed my secret
And Your speech with elaboration has confused me

2. For I do not know how to answer You
Despite the fact that the basis of what came from me

3. By Allah, You do no injustice to me; rather
The souls of mankind injure themselves

4. So whether I spoke or was silent, matters are as You see
And it is not based on guesswork or supposition

5. Rather, it is true knowledge, realized
Brought by the spirits in the darkness of the prison
