1. The truth knows, while facts remain unknown,
Veils are lowered, and the Omnipotent delays.

2. If curtains lifted, exposing what we hide,
His greatness would be scorned and neglected.

3. He veiled our minds - a shield of grace,
So we don't look to idols in our baseness.

4. Seeking Him for whom we were exalted,
Confused we wandered and fell from highness.

5. Winds of time have judged us for this crime,
When days unmasked themselves in brightness.

6. Their gusts unveiled eyes that clarity
Like southern winds when whirling in mightiness.

7. And backward winds will follow to return
Us to acceptance, for they blow in kindness.

8. If existence left Him, and He could not find,
Adversity came, those winds of uprightness.

9. So He knew the one who distracted His heart
From adversity's place is now in straightness.

10. Ungrateful is he for knowing of His light
In all things, a knowledge that is boundless.
