Among the meadows and grass tufts

1. Among the meadows and grass tufts
A doe with twisted horns grazes

2. Drinking intoxicated wine
She roams and grazes

3. Whenever a new moon rose
In the horizon of that place

4. I wished it hadn't risen
Out of caution and didn't appear

5. Whenever a shining one emerged
From the lightning of that land

6. I wished it hadn't shone
When we were there, it didn't shine

7. Oh my tears, flow
My eyelids, don't stop

8. My sighs, rise high
My liver, crack

9. And you, my guide, prepare yourself
For fire is between my ribs

10. I have lost from what has happened
The fear of parting, my tears

11. Until the moment of parting came
No eye was found weeping

12. So leave to the valley of anguish
Their pasture and my demise

13. For in it are my beloveds
Near the waters of meadows

14. Call them from a youth
Of burning agony, bidding farewell

15. Whose passions have cast him
To a barren trace of torrents

16. Oh moon below the darkness
Take something from it and leave

17. And give him a glance
From behind that veil

18. For he is too weak
For the most beautiful vision

19. Or excuse him with death wishes
Perhaps he may live and know

20. He is but dead
Among the meadows and grass tufts

21. So die in despair and sorrow
As I am in my place

22. The morning breeze didn't speak the truth
When it came with delusions

23. The wind can lie when
It makes you hear what wasn't heard
