1. My Lord's majesty transcends my existence
How wondrous when He called me to prostrate

2. For that is due to Him, God is most high
And greatest to be associated with servants

3. I have strived to find a wise one
Yet no one among the people is wise

4. Between me, when I look, and my Lord
Is like between martyrdom and martyr

5. Exalted is He who has transcended
While creation remains truth

6. And where is dust compared to the sky?
And He has restricted for us the absolute in Him

7. And diminished for us the seeking of more
For perfection without doubt belongs to Him

8. Manifest in the near and the distant
So we are through Him, make me poor

9. And we are for Him, so where is my existence?
You transcend, I could not comprehend You

10. When I was constrained in shackles
I attained You, saw none but my essence
