1. The drawing of the one I love has become erased
And we were for it a place of descent

2. The earth and sky have become too narrow for it
And with the most ample spaciousness, it has endowed us

3. And none has encompassed the Beneficent except our existence
As if we were pillars upon the Mighty Throne

4. And when the Truth, Majestic is His Majesty, encompassed us
He blessed us with knowledge of Him and vision

5. And we have not taken other than the All-Dominating as a dweller
Nor has He taken a house that would rival us

6. Indeed my Lord has been generous to me with every virtue
And given me amplitude and elucidation from Him

7. When we came to Him in every state
With the weakness by which we came to Him

8. When we praised Him through our essence
And your witnessing was safety for us

9. In everything we have said regarding You and infallibility
No eye in existence sees us
