1. If you are wise, think of the name of the Almighty
And after Him, your soul is open to act righteously

2. So stand for Him and ask Allah for forgiveness, for He
Is Merciful when the sinner comes to Him and implores

3. He grants victory to the Almighty, His supporter
And He grants victory to the witness, His favored one

4. My heart is torn by its passion, which is
A grave affliction if you ponder the dilemma

5. For my knowledge satisfies my mind's eye
And my sight cannot equal knowledge

6. Eyes only give you an image of what they have seen
While the mind's eye gives you what you never knew

7. Though it seems bizarre to my eyes
To reason it is familiar, so reason!

8. What I am saying has been stated
In the scriptures - a lesson for the wise
