1. I saw males in the form of sorceress females
Who appeared before me between merchandise and walls

2. So I addressed the males because I saw them
As honest men of frequent good counsel

3. Yet they were females bearing truths
Cast by the soul reciting the Forgiving Sura

4. And their husband was the soul I mentioned
Though they are between soft and firm

5. They are the silent knowers, never say
That what has come is not well-informed

6. And did not specify one kind over another
For he saw the matter flow in small and old

7. Do not doubt what I say, for I
Stood upon abundant knowledge from the sea

8. I sensed it a gushing Euphrates, though
It is bitter salt in the pouring years

9. So one of intellect you'll see confused
While one of law is not lost

10. I wished to gain sight of a faithful youth
Truthful from the lads, no unbeliever

11. That one who comes in the form of a merchant
Full of profits, no loser

12. But I saw only one who stripped the garb of a libertine
And saw no one wearing a clever costume

13. Things and matters diversified yet one
And absent in acquisition like the present

14. If the unseen of the unseen is true the matter of the present
My heart, mind and sight behold it
