1. O family of Imran, indeed Allah has favored you
With Maryam, daughter of Imran, who was perfected

2. By what the Protector of Allah saw fit for her
Of care, wherein she was perfected

3. He came to her while she was in her prayer niche
So he said “What is this?” She said “It is a quick provision”

4. “Take it to yourselves, for Allah has made you see
That you may ask Him, for the soul was not stingy”

5. So John was a devout worshipper like her, and through him
An ambition from his father was fulfilled

6. So the capacity of man exhausted its state
This would be its statement, if it was asked

7. I looked at her while she was uncovered
Yet through what disconnected her, she was connected

8. So look to her Giver and deliver her
For your soul will be rewarded for what it did
