1. The light is a veil that darkness hides from us
And sublime keys of generosity raise it

2. And speak of it with generosity if you are generous
For the unveiling is only between the light and the darkness

3. The veil was lowered only to protect
The essence of existence from burning and perishing

4. If you want to see what you cannot see, then be
With it, lofty of step from step

5. It has encompassing knowledge, I do not, so seek it
For it may lead me to regret

6. I know nothing after Allah but it
The nun of the pen, it is the master's head

7. It articulated whatever beauty is in the nun
Lord of servants with an issued and orderly decree

8. So these are wisdoms that came to you
From the All-Wise whose wisdom rules minds

9. So knowledge in the world of light and darkness
Is stronger in appearance than gnosis in speech
