1. The seal of saints, from the Prophet's glory of existence,
The conclusion of the chosen ones, from covenants of old.

2. From the noble house and its dwellers,
From the esteemed race, supreme in existence.

3. Realities become clear in their atoms,
And God's grace in him, from testimonies.

4. If the house remained without a seal,
The thief would come to steal the newborn.

5. So realize, my brother, look to the one
Who protected the house of sainthood from afar.

6. For if not for the one formed by our father,
The angels would not have been ordered to bow.

7. That holy one, before my soul,
Is called the martyr while still alive.

8. Unique in time, he has no peer,
Singular in essence, from a singular house.

9. I saw him as surely generous,
Despite the envious, with his vision.

10. As I saw the sun of the house from him
Where the throat is, from the jugular vein.

11. If light shone from his brilliance,
Upon the hidden body, in the burial shrouds.

12. He would become a living, speaking, intimate friend,
His face radiant, luxuriant in the cold.

13. So let those who understand the hint preserve it,
Else they will join the dead in the grave.

14. For the light of truth has no concealment,
Above the spheres, from the good fortune of bliss.

15. I saw the matter had no hesitation,
The same in descent or ascent.

16. I spoke of it and from it, and nothing less,
Though the matter had more to offer.

17. My being in existence without a place,
Shows I am the martyr's raiment.

18. For existence cannot contain my Lord's majesty,
But He was in the heart of the pillar.

19. I wanted to keep secret what was conveyed
To it of white and black from mankind.

20. Can wolves frighten him who already
Walked the wasteland with lion guards?

21. I addressed my precious soul about my being,
With realized, witnessed existence.

22. "Keep this unveiling from each denying eye,
How can my denial benefit me?"

23. She answered me truthfully with plea,
Beseeching the Overseer and the Witness.

24. "Ask Him for protection, for as long as receiving,
Ask Him for life, for the happy time."

25. I asked You, Knower of secrets, to distance me
From the familiarity of intimate friendship.

26. And to maintain my bodily cloak
With Your Kaaba, until the day of ascent.

27. And to hide my place in my place,
As You hid Your might in iron.

28. And to veil what appeared of me by necessity,
Like veiling Your essence's light from servants.

29. And to show me the witnessing of my incapacity,
By fulfilling the covenants to me.
