1. The enlightened have insight
Of which the faithful are unaware

2. Their portion is knowledge and wisdom
Confusion has no grasp or share

3. They know all created things
And every impress that is there

4. As if it came inscribed
On tablets of fate and affair

5. Knowing all that's ascribed
To God or man without compare

6. Witnessing beyond their witnessing
Knowing God hides all that He bears

7. And following the Maker's guidance
Overlooking all worldly snares

8. Truth claimed them as it came
In holy writ that lights and clears

9. Unique in knowledge are they
Meeting all that existence bares

10. No conflict do we find in them
Affirming all that perseveres

11. Mute, blind, suspended beings
With hands that cannot interfere

12. In their being they are but nothingness
Like moonbeams that from nothing flare

13. So the eye is distraught at their essence
And the moon cries "I am not there!"

14. Such is the matter of existence, "Be!"
And be not, hush, by divine care.
