1. I seek forgiveness from Allah, for Allah forgives me
For whatever sins and mistakes I have committed

2. He has blessed me with good that I do not know
My hopes in His favor and kindness were never dashed

3. I relied on Him in all my dealings
Whatever was in my nature and deeds

4. Whatever harm and wisdom was from Allah
In truth, it was meant for me

5. Allah has a secret among His names which appeared
His rulings are not from the sun or stars

6. And when His lights connected and shone
Their lights upon the heavens and earth below

7. The wisdom was derived from them in the skies and
Upon the throne, orbits and cycles

8. From them constellations revealed their positions
Along with the planets that flow until their time

9. It gave each station its allotted duration
Some fast and some slowly ambling along

10. Thus it's said that fate rules us
By permission of its Creator in the world of ideals

11. He ordained a power beyond compare
That no mind can grasp without an equal

12. Its cycles have given you knowledge of its ways
In His creation and what was in eternity

13. By it is named He by whom existence came to be
Glory to Him beyond thought and tedium

14. He is pleased by nothing in existence but a youth
Who comes to Him with the angels in shade

15. For he is adorned by His name Allah
A sign of the garments he wears

16. Hastening ahead while the origin supports him
In His word: Man was created of haste

17. I say what is the pinnacle of hopes, O my hope?
What hopes have I in other than the hopeful one?

18. As for the Messiah who destroys your idols
And they are thirty, they did not move or cease

19. Until he appeared and they melted like lead
Melted by fire before eyes and minds

20. He walked the white path, walking the way
Of the prophets, angels and messengers

21. And I am no prophet, nor angel
Nor messenger, but I hope to see my guardian

22. I am of those whom the path raises through him
As I was raised above all other paths

23. The way of Ahmad, best of all people
Who excelled in glory over all regions and hills

24. That Imam whose authority roared
Over all on the momentous day

25. You are the helper for me in every ode
Of wisdoms in praise and love

26. By Allah, my eye saw none
Except I saw you in him, arranging my affairs

27. Before and with the seen one, and after
I want none but him around

28. I speak conditionally of him, not as
Our predecessors spoke, O cause of causes

29. God is too great to give his essence
In reality, known yet eternal

30. But His beautiful names are His truths
They sought Him and are before me

31. This that I have said, sacred law proclaims it
Thus we have transmitted from our early forbears
