1. Behold, return to the origin of existence,
For the generosity and being you know it has.

2. God has bestowed upon my heart,
With what He gave it in prostration.

3. Prostration of the heart, if you contemplate it,
Truly portends witnessing.

4. To the eternal endless eternity,
Transcending accompaniment of limits.

5. You were ignorant and did not reject the way of my existence,
For my origin is from the soil.

6. With it I ascended to the honor of sublimities,
So bring me down to the joy of felicities.

7. And He called me when I had left my people,
Behind me, near and far.

8. And I preferred the company of my Lord's company,
So join me to the station of servants.

9. And He granted me virtues so I became an example,
And transcended the exemplary existence.

10. And what virtue is loftier and higher,
To equal the gardens of immortality?

11. I was preferred over the fathers in truth,
A sincere certainty, and over ancestors.

12. And the All-Dominant taught me that my ancestor
Is the most generous that can be of ancestors.

13. Except the ancestor of God, for He has transcended
The comparable companion and child.
