1. Have patience, Yazid, for you have lost one of great trust
And be thankful for the trial which has purified you

2. You have come to possess all of these people
So take care of them and God will take care of you

3. If anyone among the people is stricken with grief, we will console him
Just as you were consoled, and no consequence is like yours

4. And in Muawiyah who remains for us is a successor
When you are mourned we will not hear of your prevention
